Porsche withdrew Barth’s entry as his car was unable to compete. Scuderia Serenissima withdrew its De Tomaso entry. Gregory withdrew and his car was left with his teammate Burgess. Monteverdi, Duke, Pirocchi and Campbell-Jones did not attend the event. The Lotus spare car was entered by the organizers with #36, in the hope that it would be leased to a German driver. After the accident with Clark’s title car, he ended up participating in race using that car. |
