Villoresi and Bonnier shared the wheel of #34 Maserati. Behra retired with his #32 Maserati and took over the wheel of #46 Maserati of Maglioli, abandoning again. Fangio having problems with his #22 Ferrari, took the wheel of Collins’ #26 Ferrari. Fangio and Collins shared the points for 2nd place, and with that Fangio became champion. Castellotti, who had retired with his #24 Ferrari later, ended up taking the wheel of the #22 ex-Fangio, but did not score. |
